Perhaps the recurring theme that permeates Jin Yoshimura's work can be encapsulated in the word 'fixation.'
He pursues moments where he can feel the texture and inherent 'being' of an object,
as if he could touch it with his own hands.
When we happen to look up at the sky, gaze intently at the flow of a river, or closely observe the plants and pebbles at our feet, we are sometimes liberated from everyday meanings and drawn into a universal time and space.
The existence of an object and the space that surrounds it.
The boundaries between them blur and melt, creating a sensation of setting sail into the vast flow of time,
the sea of imagination.
When the images captured there settle into our minds as a real physical sensation, transcending mere fantasy,
we may encounter a fragile yet beautiful, universal perceptual experience.
He simply and earnestly wishes to touch those images.
